How does the Airfree Air Sterilizer work?

Contaminated air silently enters the Airfree air sterilizers by air convection and is sterilized inside Airfree's patented ceramic core where all microorganisms are destroyed at high temperatures. Regardless of how hazardous a virus, fungus or bacteria might be they can not resist the powerful heat inside the ceramic core and are incinerated.

The heat inside the ceramic core forces sterilized air out to the heat exchanger causing air convection, which generates negative pressure underneath the ceramic core, so contaminated air is “sucked” in at the Airfree unit's bottom air inlets in a continuous and silent thus efficient airflow. The combination of the ceramic core, special ceramic and airflow reduces at the same time toxic ozone by 26%. Ozone is a lung irritant, emitted by many air cleaners in the market that can trigger allergic reactions, even in small amounts.

The Airfree air sterilizer just uses heat to purify the air. No living microorganism survives this power and there are no side effects, no emissions, no ions, nor new particles generated. Many allergic reactions are caused by dust mites. The fine dust generated from their skeletons and excrements contain hazardous fungus and allergens that when inhaled cause allergic reactions. Those allergens and fungus are totally destroyed inside the Airfree ceramic core. If the room is larger, please add proportionally more Airfree units. The use of just one Airfree Platinum in larger rooms would reduce the efficiency of the air sterilizer.

Of course the Airfree air sterilizers can be installed in rooms equipped with air conditioning, fans and heating systems. However it is recommended not to place the Airfree unit under shelves or furniture, or behind curtains as it will reduce the air flow and the Airfree's efficiency to eliminate mold spores, dust mite allergens, pet dander, bacteria, viruses, smoke etc. In case the air inlets or outlets would be blocked the unit would be disconnected and after about 1 minute, the anti-stress light would start blinking to call for attention. After a few seconds of being properly installed the anti-stress light will stop blinking and Airfree will start working again.

The Airfree Air Sterilizer must be continuously on in the same room, 24 hours a day. But as it is completely silent you will not be disturbed at all. That's a big plus, compared to air purifiers that need a noisy fan to blow the air through a filter. Don't trade air pollution for noise pollution!
